Is there one to begin with? I know they started with the Regent's/other scholarship decisions, but can someone confirm whether they are actually going "down the list" by admitting the top-tier students first?

That's what it seems like to me. Many of my friends have already received their acceptances, but one in particular has the same UC gpa as me (not a great one, just solid), and just got his email this morning

I'm feeling a bit tense/on edge :[

ok so my friend who was already accepted let me use her account to message her Admissions Counselor... I copy and pasted the messages...

Hi I just had a question about the dates of admission and
how the results are being released. Is there any particular
method being used to decide when the decisions are released?
I have been hearing that people are getting accepted on
different dates. When will all decsions be complete?
Thank You
and sorry to bother you.

Students are notified randomly throughout the
month of March.

....so dumb...

Oh gosh...I'm so freaking on edge about this whole thing.

Every time I get an email from any of the schools I applied to, my heart jumps into my throat. I'm sick of this feeling...let me know already! :P

same =/
Im kinda ****ed off now..
Imma take a nap to pass the time quicker.. LOL

same here man i kind of gave up being excited to check at 12 every night and i'm not really expecting much anymore. anybody know my chances with a 4.03 GPA 1860 SAT and 670Math2 and 620 USHIs SATII.

Tree, if that's your UC GPA, I don't see why you shouldn't get in. Their average SAT score is definitely what you have, and you would surpass their average UC gpa average as well I believe.

Hmm... I really hope it's random as they say

wat would be my chance

UC GPA: 3.86
SAT I : 1920
SAT II : 780 math IIC
77o Chem
major: compsci

EDIT :: Finally received the decision yesterday morning, thank god

also received Davis's this afternoon

gl everyone else
