I know the general distaste for studying abroad in the UK, as it is considered a way to simply drink at pubs every weekend without the need to study a second language. However, I have an incredible interest to study there for Psychology in order to gain a new perspective on the science, as well as to develop new experiences which may give me a leverage on applying to graduate schools. This being said, how is the psychology program at UCL? I know that they have a great research reputation, which is something I consider to be crucial to consider. I'm still only a college freshman, and plan to study my junior year during the spring semester, but I just want to have the ability to plan and research this earlier on so I know what I'm getting myself into. What other undergraduate psychology programs in the UK are highly regarded? I was considering Oxbridge, but for study abroad programs, they seem very closed off and inaccessible.
