UCL or Edinburgh?

What would people chose for a semester abroad and why? I am choosing between these two schools for the fall, and have heard mixed reviews for UCL-London and mostly good reviews for Scotland. I am looking to have fun, go out, explore, party, travel some bit, be in a laid back environment (and of course study). So which would you chose?

Your other thread says that you are enrolled at UCL? If you are still deciding, well…you can

at either of them. Obviously, there are more flights from London than Edinburgh, but thanks to Ryanair et al, you can get anywhere pretty cheaply.

Edinburgh is a fantastic college town, London is a fantastic major city- really, nobody can tell you which will suit you better. Neither is exactly laid back, but obviously small city is more so than major city.

It’s worth looking in detail at exactly the modules (classes) you will be taking at each place- that might make the difference for you.
