UCLA '06 transfer admitted stats

the gpa for most impacted majors has dropped.

Comm and BizEcon still has about the same acceptance rate though.

Yeah those tend to stay pretty static.

all the economics gpa has increased:

BizEcon - From 3.8 to 3.81
Econ - From 3.75 to 3.76
Econ/International Area Studies - From 3.64 to 3.72

I remember seeing International Development Studies increase from a 3.4 ish to a 3.5 ish.

They admitted a lot more people this year.
Hmmm...

I find the 31.92% admit rate for UC-to-UC transfer much more interesting. For something that apparently many people are doing, why do we hear so little about it (and why is it made out to be so difficult to accomplish?)

On that note, anyone want to take a stab as to why UCD's transfer rate is so low relative to the other UC's, while UCI's is so high? I personally thought both schools were about equal overall, so the 10% different really caught me offguard.
