<p>More info (for anyone who was in the same situation I was in): I attended Loyola Marymount University my freshman year. I thought it was too conservative/small/didn’t offer my major so I left and attended SMC for one year. For anyone reading this, it is very possible to do this. SMC transferred over my credits from LMU and they counted toward IGETC. It was NOT hard to do either socially or academically. If you’re unhappy at your current 4 year institution and you’re still a freshman, I RECOMMEND GOING TO A CCC FOR ONE YEAR AND THEN TRANSFERRING!!! It’s NOT difficult!</p>
