UCLA’s decision comes out next Saturday, and I was wondering if anyone got invitations to the arts open house this year?? I applied to DESMA and I know my chances are really slim, I also heard that getting an invitation is an informal acceptance so now that the decision date is getting closer and closer I’m worried that since I didn’t get an invitation, maybe this is foreshadowing a rejection. I didn’t see any thread about it yet, so I’m starting my own. If anyone has gotten an invitation please comment! Thanks!
Whoops, the decision doesn’t come out next Saturday, it comes out the 21st.

Do you mean that Open House emails will be sent the 21st?

@Anemone7 I’m a transfer. I believe freshmen have already received their decisions… we still have to wait another month!

Likewise. I don’t know anything about how they do the invites, but like you had read that they are an early indicator of acceptance. But have also seen that some are accepted without the open house.
