Mid reach. Your GPA/SAT scores are a bit below average for UC’s - especially the selective ones like UCLA, but your ECs, especially are very good and first gen is a good hook.

California residents definitely get a leg up, so if you’re out of state it actually might weaken your application. Honestly I think you have a good shot, those are amazing scores

@noochilised Ayyy I’m president of my school’s JSA chapter. I’m from the NorCal GGR region! :slight_smile: I barely see any JSA people on here. Hopefully we both get into UCLA, you seem pretty competitive to me.
