<p>I think that person was already in from the first wave to be honest. it sounds like they really hadn't been checking the site.</p>

<p>So far... I have read two people said they got the acceptances this morning....</p>

<p>UCLA said they would only update once a day.... haa......so that's it for today. I kept logging in to URSA and decision website for hundreds of time. i m totally anguished. i even dreamed abt I got rejected by UCLA last night, and I woke up with tears. sniff sniff** =[=[</p>

<p>Well, I guess surviving for another day is much better than being rejected? I have a feeling I wont be hearing from them until Monday night, really no basis behind the feeling though...</p>

<p>Well I was telling the truth about being notified around 10:30am today. I check repeadily the day before and earlier that morning and nothing, but randomly it said...
"Congratulations! It is our great pleasure to offer you admission to UCLA for the Fall Quarter 2008. You have been admitted to the UCLA College of Letters and Science with Global Studies as your academic major. Although we are not able to offer you admission to your first-choice major, we hope that you will consider this alternate offer.</p>

<p>You bring an impressive array of strengths to your academic endeavors. We know that UCLA will benefit from your intelligence, imagination, and energy, and we hope you will choose UCLA for your undergraduate education."</p>

<p>... I am only trying to be helpful to anyone and wish them the best of luck because I know how difficult this experience can really be :)</p>

<p>p.s. no I did not check to see the myUCLA thing before I got admitted because I was too scared I would jinx it.</p>
