I read the conditions of admittance and connex summed it up Tiberius. Your acceptance to UCLA can be rescinded if you drop a class without notifying the admissions office, or receive a D or F in a class. Also if your GPA significantly drops then you can get your acceptance rescinded as well. So if you somehow go down from a 3.8 to a 3.2 that could be troublesome. Also by maintaining your gpa this basically means you need to not get any Ds or Fs. Dont worry too much as long as u dont get any grade below a C your acceptance wont get rescinded.

Yea it said maintain my gpa and dont get any Ds or Fs. But every academic agreement for the UCs I got into has said that. When it says maintain your gpa all that means is obtain a minimum gpa of 2.0 and dont get any Ds or Fs. It doesnt mean if you got a 3.8 your first 3 semesters that you have to get a 3.8 your last semester. The gpa you applied with as a result of your first 3 semesters are the ones that count. To keep their acceptance from a UC, hs seniors need to maintain a 3.0 during their last semester and for us transfers all you honestly need to do your last semester is maintain at least a 2.0. At this point the UCs have accepted us based on our first 3 semesters and as long as you dont get any Ds or Fs, then your not ruining your chances on keeping your acceptance.

Nope, trust me you dont. We are all cut some slack this semester when it comes to grades. We have already all been accepted, now all we got to do is uphold the minimum requirements(every class being at least a C) and we are fine. Dont worry too much.

Maintain Academic Performance
Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units you reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Also, if you attended another UC campus in regular session prior to enrollment at UCLA, you must have been in good standing when you left that UC campus. Notify our office immediately of any withdrawals, incomplete grades, drop in academic performance [including any D and F grades], or other changes to your class schedule. [See Contacting UCLA section.]

Yes Nacho27 you have it a little tougher then the rest of us. Both those classes you mentioned are required general eds and in the conditions of admittance it does say you have to get a B in both those classes because they are the two most important general eds you have to take for UC.

Anyone who says you just have to pass your classes is spreading FUD. The contract we all have explicitly says MAINTAIN admittance GPA. People that believe otherwise are simply making room for the appeals candidates…

Now that we are admits, we can press 1 at the phone prompt, skip the line, and ask questions like this directly to the source.

F uck people on CC talking out of their *******s. Verify EVERYTHING.

Realistically, I think that clause is in the contract silly so LA can reserve the right to rescind if they choose. I think .05-.1.25 etc drop would be ok IF you report it. However, I wouldn’t try to find out how low they will let you go before dropping you. Simply my estimation though.
