UCLA Acceptance letter (mail)

Hey guys, i was just wondering if everyone received their acceptance letters in the mail yet. I've read on the ucla facebook group that some have. My dilemma is that i have not yet, but i live 20 minutes away from ucla. Also, my friends from school have gotten theres on friday, yet i have not =/

That’s strange. I’m in SoCal too, and I got mine last Friday.

Maybe if it doesn’t come in a few more days, you should call and ask? I don’t know–sorry if that was unhelpful. Haha.

Oh no, you’re post was insightful! Thanks for your reply. Hm, yeah, i’m going to either call today or tommorow and see what’s up.

ooh, alwaysawrite, i just got my packet right now! xD

I got mines too! :D

Congrats curious! the packet smells nice haha :D

^ Hahaha that’s true. It reminds me of this jello dish I used to eat.

Did the package arrive via regular mail?

Simmerdean

I know right? It smells so fresh and new! lol

Haha, that’s funny alwaysawriter!
Yes it does curious!
@theinstigator, yeah it arrived via regular mail. If you have not gotten yours yet, don’t fret! Give it another day or two and then if it does not come, then try calling the office of admissions. Good luck buddy

Got mine today! I live in Florida so I kinda expected to wait a while…

Have all or most of you guys SIR’d yet? Are you guys going to Bruin day?

I’m going to Bruin day, but I’m waiting to hear back from UCLA since I changed my academic schedule for the spring. Hopefully they don’t rescind me!

@Theinstigator: There shouldn’t be any reason for them to rescind you unless you’ve got bad grades or you dropped classes because of bad grades. Even then, you don’t necessarily need to assume that the changes will kill your offer if you’ve generally made a good effort. The reason I’m saying/assuming this is because UCLA says that they’ll look at changes “in the context of” your record (so let’s be optimistic!).

That being said . . . would you please comment on a related concern that I have? I would appreciate it!: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/1484458-reporting-record-changes.html

@CuriousJDG9513 - I haven’t SIR’d yet, but I probably will this week. I am going to Bruin Day, and I’m very excited!! @alwaysawriter, great point, it depends on how/why you changed your schedule. Good luck Theinstigator.

So far I’ve gotten straight A’s in my senior year so I’m not too worried :). I’ll be seeing all of you in a week hopefully at Bruin Day, it’s gonna be a long flight!
