I applied to UCLA and I was accepted. However, on my application I stated that I was planning on taking a Calculus for Business and Social Sciences. The sole purpose of this course was major prep for UCSB. I decided to drop the class 2 days in the semester because since UCLA was my top choice, I wanted to focus on my other classes because Math is not my strongest subject. Do you think UCLA will rescind my acceptance because I did not follow through on a planned course? The class was not needed for UCLA and i will still complete 60 units by the time of transfer. I contacted admissions and explained my situation the day after I was accepted, and now I just have to wait 15 days for an answer. I just want an ease of mind, because I cannot sleep.
Call UCLA admission for confirmation. It does not matter what people online say, only what UCLA says will matter. Stop worrying, I don’t think it’s going to hurt you, but call and make sure.
I called and they said that I should be fine, but there are not any guarantees. I updated my accounted on the UCLA portal page
