You have it good. My summer quarter begins 2 days after my spring quarter begins. And I have 6 more weeks before spring quarter ends! :(

^ 6 weeks?! Where do you currently go?

De Anza College and Foothill College in the Cupertino/Los Altos areas of California.

We go by the quarter system though. I don't mind the fast pace, but I hate how we don't have enough breaks. Between Fall and Winter quarter, we have a 3 week break. Between Winter and Spring quarter, we have a one week break. And between Spring and Summer quarter, only one weekend!

hey i was wondering if anyone who posted in this ucla thread would know........i recently submitted my SIR to attend ucla, however now i am having a second opinion about another UC...is it too late to change my mind if i have already submitted my SIR?

SMC goes by the quarter system as well, but the fact that you have a 3 week break between the Fall and Winter quarters explains why you guys end later than us.

Yeah, that sucks that my schools doesn't spread out the break days.

Who got into UCLA and/or CAL into ECON majors from a CC? Stats?

smith... i got in w/ tap and 3.67 gpa. no extraordinary ec's (work, clubs, the usual). i worked my ass off on the essay though.

woah, I just looked through the whole form and there was a bunch of people with a low GPA got in.

ya what the heck... so low gpas got in for fall 2006 to UCLA.. weird huh??

hope it's the same this year
