Spicy, thats a great accomplishment tap after 3 semesters if i'm not mistaken or is it two. wow.

i got tap certified in one semester...but that's only because my honors program is kinda weak. hahaha

lol. lucky you then :) but still, i agree it's a huge accomplishment.

blah we need 18 honors units at my college, and it's almost impossible to perfectly schedule that many honors classes in a short time since they're very limited anyway...which really sucked.

Cardinal how many tap courses were required at your school?

Check Out My Post About Ucla Decision On "transfer"..

18 as well.

and I think to be UCLA Tap Certified you need a minimum 3.25 gpa. TAP certification at my school also requires minimal community service.

Wow 18 units of honors damn in one semester.good work.

24 units of honors courses are required at pierce college. 12 formal honors units are required and the latter 12 units can be fulfilled with gchem, ochem, bio, calc, physics, anatomy or accounting.

We also have contract classes at Pierce where we get honors credit for the remaining 12 units by doing an extra assignment in a regular UC transferable class. Personally, I thought those were the worst. The formal honors classes actually seemed easier.

Hey kevintech, what'd you take?
I took CINEMA 18, JOURNALISM 100, SPEECH 104, and ECON 2.

i took cinema 18, econ 1 [levick is so easy!!], history 11, and history 1.

She's also a great instructor imo. I like her the best out of all the professors at Pierce not just because of her ease. She's quirky and approachable in a way other profs just can't seem to be. She's got credentials too.
