Hey guys, I have a question about the UCLA achievement scholarship. I was checking the UCLA hashtag on Instagram and I noticed that some people were getting these scholarships. I was accepted to UCLA yesterday but I did not get that scholarship notification. How would one go to find out the status on that? To help clarify things, I am a freshman applicant, about 4.1 UW, I submitted my FAFSA but have not sent in this year's tax information yet.

Again, I'm talking about the UCLA Achievement Scholarship. How can I check if I got it? Did I have to apply for it?

Try asking on the UCLA forum.

Pterodactyls, The UCLA Achievement Scholarship will be shown on your financial aid award (electronic Provisional Award Letter, ePAL) if you have been selected as a recipient. Scholarships are awarded during the Admissions process and are based on your standard UC application submission (no additional information is required/requested). Students are awarded based on merit, but must have financial need as determined by the UCLA Financial Aid Office and based on the information reported on the FAFSA.

It should be shown on the financial aid award section. Look around and I’m sure you can find it! Otherwise, just call the office tomorrow :)
