UCLA admission

Ok i have a 3.73 GPA from a CC and my primary major is Business Econ. My secondary choice was Sociology. Does anyone know if I were to get rejected for Business Econ, what are the chances I would get accepted as a Sociology major. Does anyone know if this is a likely possibility or not?

Admittance to second choice is only permitted through TAP.

VERY well said beardy

aww that sucks. i was hoping they’d consider my secondary major, econ, when they reject me for business economics :P

Just wondering…was there an application for the TAP for UCLA or do they automatically consider you part of the TAP program based on the classes you have taken?

you had to file an application for TAP at your CCC. you dont simply get the credit because you took some classes…

thnx…the counselors at my college are horrible. My counselor never told me to fill out an TAP application for UCLA. It would seem that they should be helping us and guiding us since they know more about the universities, but it its the total opposite.

The TAP application is necessary in order to be eligible for UCLA’s TAP program. Applicants are only considered TAP members once they have successfully completed 15 or more honors units by the end of their last semester prior to transfer.
