UCLA Admissions Acceptance/Rejection Date

basically you get put in spring if you’re not “good enough” for fall :P

bobmom: where do you check to see if you got regents?

Rejected but it’s all good. Keep my head high. That’s how I got to roll. :D

^^^ Tour, they are saying they have 4690 spots available as an expected matriculation. Surely not 100% (i think its around 30-40% of those admitted will choose UCLA and therefore fill those spots. Its more likely that 22-24% were admitted, so 57kx.25 = around 13000 actually admitted.
Congrats

Rejected… and was my first choice.
)):
I’ll go cry now

^Don’t cry bro. I’m sure you’ll go to a wonderful place.

Is it worth it to appeal? or is it going to be useless

the only cool think i can think of that has happened to me since i applied is that we won the state championship for basketball
is that not going to impress UCLA?

but that doesnt mean u should feel worse indianjatt! glad you still have a positive outlook

panda! dont cry. i was rejected from my first choice dream school too. chin up!

To check for regents, in the admissions.ucla.edu decisions, to the left of the congratulations letter is a link for View your admission contract.

At the bottom of that page is a link to admissions.ucla.edu/newbruins/fr. That will lead you to a page that you can View Financial Aid/Scholarships.

Hopefully that gets you there.

@Spacedog: my S just got rejected too, and hasn’t gotten the call from UCSD either. so i can relate. in any case, i’m incredibly proud of him regardless. he worked super hard these past few years, and i would never consider them as wasted. definitely have faith.

Daughter is accepted!

Wow i feel like **** right now… wonder what chances this give me for Cal

@ilovepandapanda, awwwww… don’t cry… :(

@heytherek: I know the feeling man, rejected as well, but I never thought UCLA as a safety school; people say they recruit pretty inconsistenlty with their criteria, as with Cal as well, so hang in there bud!

in…

Yay!!! I got accepted! My dream school!

ACCEPTED!
canadian international!
but I already found out an hour ago with the my.ucla.edu method (said Pre Business-Economics, Admit, College of Letters and Sciences) and the URSA.ucla.edu method (TWO columns) so it wasn’t as exciting…

What to do after rejection? Anyone?

I guess all we can do is hope we get into the other schools we applied to. If you mean in terms of appealing, im not sure. But I have my options open about a CC for two years and transferring. Then again, I don’t think I’m going to try to come back here after being rejected the first time.

So this is what rejection feels like…

Just crushing.
