UCLA Admissions Acceptance/Rejection Date

<p>rejected: my 4th choice school(not academically 4th just don’t really want to be around my parents both of whom work there) i’m just trying to remain optimistic for Berkeley!</p>

<p>@heytherek: unfortunately you can say UCLA (and Cal I assume) is somewhat infamous for being pretty inconsistent with their admissions as someone else pointed out earlier. My counselor told me about how you can’t really predict if you got a good chance at getting into UCLA unless you have some amazing stats to begin with. Aside from ECs, my stats were comparable to the averages of enrolled/admitted students of 2009’s class. But it should work out over time. God has a plan for everything. I’m going to be down about this for a while but I know I’ll recover eventually. But if I get rejected by UCSD (God forbid), then that’s another story. lol!</p>

<p>I got rejected, but that’s not a surprise. Keep your heads up guys. Just because they want 5.0 GPAs and 2400 SATs, doesn’t mean we aren’t great in our own respect.</p>

<p>its not just 8%. they accept around 20-25% because they know everybody will go. its tough though still i know</p>
