So i hate Stat AP, and i call the admissions office to see if i can drop it without getting nailed. The lady tells me that i have to fill out a form...but here's the problem....

the form says 'no hypothetical situations. only list classes that you have ALREADY dropped.'

so how the hell am i supposed to know if i can drop stat or not? any suggestions? this is ridiculous.

i doubt they'd like to see you took a class just to get into college (even though i'm sure you're faaaar from the only one)

unless you think you're getting a C or D in the class, you'd be better off staying in. just stop doing homework and don't study for tests, if you're miserable. it won't matter how much your grade drops as long as it doesn't drop below a B- 0:)

If I could, I'd quote flopsy in this post. But I don't know how. Someone nice, teach me? :)

I don't think a B- matters! granted, it might depend on what your other courses and respective grades are. I got a B- in an AP on my semester report card, but also A's in 4 other AP's. I don't think the UCLA website/acceptance letter says anything about the B range. Their threats start coming in with C's :(
