this is an email from sb i received on march 11th:

Greetings, UCSB Transfer Applicant:

Thank you again for submitting your application to the University of California, Santa Barbara for fall quarter, 2009.

Since December, we have been reading and evaluating more than 10,000 transfer applications to UCSB. On Monday, March 16 at 3 p.m., we will post a portion of our transfer admission decisions on our website - www.admissions.ucsb.edu/applicant. Additional transfer decisions will continue to be posted until May 1.

UCSB Office of Admissions

im not trying to discredit what you said. im just basing it off what evidence i have

i didnt apply to sd or uci so i wouldnt know about the am release

No myucla would have been updated if decisions are going to be released tomorrow. Thus it is very very likely we will have to wait until at least thursday. But we might see myucla updates around 7am

cr_book, I mentioned this earlier, I think they fixed the myucla thing when freshman decisions came out this year, as initially they could see it, but was soon taken down. This didn’t happen last year for transfers, so perhaps they caught on.

who wants to read my UCLA appeal!!

I fully believe two columns and official decisions will be released tomorrow.

I’ll say 10:30 a.m. for two columns and 4:30 p.m. for official decisions.

peppamintt, why did you write an appeal already?

Very possible, considering that I read an article which stated that college administrators sometimes visit College Confidential every now and then to see what people are saying about their school. Since this is a publicly accessible forum, anyone with a computer and internet can see what we’re saying.

Maybe the whole three column thing won’t change to two columns any earlier this year.

idee… im missing a prereq for business econ, so im 100% sure im rejected. that’s why. BUT i think i have a strong appeal for that.

^^^Hope we will bump into each other @ ucla someday.

if ucla rejected me as a freshman, dont u think rejecting me a second time would be wayyyy too harsh on their part! lol

peppa…just wait. we will all know in a matter of days…no need to panic prematurely.

Everyone is talking about logging into myUCLA. The decision link below, is this the one that they update last?(Official Letter)

https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/Decision/Login.aspx

idee… im not stressed or anything at all… i know for a fact im rejected, butanyways…

Access URSA from Sunday 6 p.m. through Tuesday 1 a.m., and from Tuesday to Saturday 6 a.m.–1 a.m. Pacific Time.

Maybe they will be doing updates between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m.

what is two columns vs. three columns thing?

last year it came out on a wednesday. this year, it should be on a wednesday as well since as Loopinc pointed out, that’s when they update their junk.

I’m setting my alarm for 6:30.

Someone might win the bragging rights tomorrow!
