I party regardless.

can old people come? :)

no.
no old people.
in fact, no people at all.
people-less party.

So whats the deal now? Are they supposed to be released today around noon? Because thats what I gathered from Cheba when they said afternoon on wednesday last year…

Old people can get us drinks :)

No old people? Now I will cry…

And today at noon would be swell if that’s the case.

holy crap! I CAN SEE MY FIN AID ON URSA!

Along with your awards?!

@idee:U mean the summary? and u werent able to see it friday?

nope, this is all i see:

Financial Aid File Status: Incomplete
Financial Aid Notification (FAN): Not Available
Cost of Attendance: $26,466.00
Student Contribution: $128.00
Parent Contribution: $14,599.00

any ideas on why it’s incomplete?

no 2008 taxes filed for either you or your parents.
or! proof of citizenship.
seems like those are the two factors.

yeah, the summary, and no i wasnt. today is the first day

See Im with Idee. not on the incomplete though. How come for some people cost of attendance is like 24 and ours is around 26. Does this have to do with on-campus vs off campus housing?

yes.
10char.

so i have to send in the actual tax papers? is there a due date?
how do i do this? when i filed the fafsa our taxes were done…so i selected “Filed” instead of “will file”

Check the view financial aid document tracking bear claw. It should tell u whats incomplete

Status: Incomplete

CITIZENSHIP MISMATCH- GO TO FAO Not Received

The due date is the 1st of next month. well that was for Irvine until i had mine FAFSA 09-10 corrected.
You can locate you exact error in FAFSA through your UCI award if you have any, there you can see exactly why has your FAFSA been rejected/ incomplete.
Hope that helps

well i’m assuming they want to see my birth certificate? so should i wait until official decisions are out and deliver it to the office myself that day?

Why would they want to see your Birth Certificate, has it been mentioned?
Never ever have i heard any1 being asked for a B.C.
Call up UCI or UCSD or whichever college you have heard from, and ask them what is missing.
Make sure that you are on top of it, cos the more you delay the lesser $$ you get…
