Oh good, so I’m not the only one in this situation. Anyways, I haven’t gotten an email from LA either. I wonder why…

My D also. Received email from the two other campuses except LA.

My son submitted his application on myUCApllication on November 1 to avoid the November 30 deadline crowd. It was transferred to UCLA on November 2. He received an email from UCLA on November 16.

Did you submit near the deadline? Check on myUCApplication to see when your application was transferred to UCLA and then maybe give them a call.

Good luck.

I got a conformation email December 5th

Is there an email where UCLA gives some log in info? How do you check results when they are released in march?

I’m a student here at UCLA. UCLA will post a web page on their website where they will ask for your UC Application ID, last name, birth date, and city of birth. That’s your “login” and it will link you to your acceptance/rejection letter.

They don’t send emails with acceptance status. At least they didn’t last year. I think Berkley and San Diego are the same.

How are students notified of acceptance? Do they send letters? Or on what date do you log in to find out?

My son got an email on December 5th saying they got his application. I think he sent his application in mid-November. They don’t have a “portal” like some of the other UC’s.

When decisions are available you log-in to their “decision site” with your application ID. I swear I read last week that decisions would be available on March 23rd, but I can’t find that anywhere now. Here is the website they refer you to for information in the email :[Current Applicants - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/currentapp.htm)

Their “decision site” did say March 23rd, but now it says “Decisions will be available beginning in mid-to-late March 2013.”

@imafan I found mine out March 27 in the evening. I got an email telling me that decisions have been made and to find out go to (link) and enter (information). UCLA does NOT send out letters to notify you. A few weeks later, you’ll get a package that has a copy of the letter that you saw when you logged onto the decision site, and information/pamphlets/brochures about Bruin Day. Bruin Day is when admitted students can visit the campus and get a feel for it. They have LOTS of tours and tables and booths, etc.

I received an email from UCLA that they received my application right after I submitted it. I didn’t receive one from UCSB though.

Sumbum: my son applied to UCSB and got an email. They have you set up a portal using your UC application number. You could try that to make sure they got your application.

i received an email around 2 months ago

After much searching thru her emails, she got it back in the beginning of December.
