<p>So did I. If you view your financial aid award through ursa, it's listed as the Scholarship Recognition Award = $2062. I think of it as a university grant.</p>
<p>Yeah, it looks like its just a university grant with a nice little certificate.</p>
<p>Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if we did not win that Scholarship Recognition Award of $XXXX, then some other form of grant (CalGrant, somekinda university grant) would usually offset it according to your EFC. </p>
<p>Oh well, it does look nice, with the letter + certificate + folder. Kinda cool how UCLA does these extra things, such as the acceptance packet, which by far is the best among all the UCs.</p>
<p>Yup. It really shows that the school really respects and cares about its students, unlike UCI or UCSD who only send one or two pieces of paper in the admit package.</p>
