I was interviewed about two weeks ago, and I had four questions with two minutes to answer each one. I didn't even use the two minutes to answer each question >< I just stated something, took a breath, stated another, and probably finished each of my answer in a minute or about ten seconds over a minute. LOL....I was thinking to myself "great use of time......><".

I didn't smile at all during the questions....I was so darn serious the whole time and finally eased up during the "do you have any questions for the UCLA Alumni" part.

Bad part : I spent the afternoon of that day cringing over how I answered my questions (stoic, serious me).

Good part : I got the scholarship, and I will be interviewing a second time for the state competition final.

GOOD LUCK to everyone who is waiting to hear from them or who are going to interview again a second time!!!!!!

I have the second round of interviews on Saturday, but I was wondering if anything would be going on the weekend of 4/21? Like the day students actually go to the campus. Thanks for any help!

I made it to state finals, but I didn't receive the email attachment with the resume. Can anybody help me out? I'm freaking out, because it's due on the 20th.

HermioneTrapper: As far as the open house goes... The open house itself isn't too great. But... If you haven't seen/visited the campus, I highly recommend doing so. There's no way you should decide where to go without visiting first, and half a school day is nothing really. Rather, you should be stoked to miss some school :) a little vacation is always nice.

MattHoward55: The scholarship is $4000 paid in $1000 dollar annual installments over 4 years (obviously). It is contingent upon:

a) You actually going to UCLA lol.
b) Keeping good grades > 2.0
c) 30 hourse community service performed each year (120 total for those mathematically uninclined people out there - jk)
