UCLA and USC

I am a rising senior from South Carolina looking to apply to usc and ucla.

29 act (taking that again, goal of 32)
1290 sat (m: 660, cr: 630, w: 630)
AP Lit, AP Euro, AP US- all 4
Unweighted: 4.0
Weighted 4.95
Ranked #5 out of 290
I take Early College- when community college comes to my high school and teaches classes- already taken 2, will take 2 more senior year

Good extra curriculars
So would I get accepted (with act of 32) and how much scholarship money would I get (with a 32)?

You should get in with a 32 but you will not get scholarship from UCLA, you might get some from South Carolina.
What are your EC’s?

When I say usc I mean university of Southern California! Thank you though

For USC, I suggest you look at their recent Freshman Profile because your 29 ACT and 1920 SAT are on the low end, so improving one of those will definitely help: http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/docs/USCFreshmanProfile2013.pdf

Also look at Madbean’s thread on USC Chances: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/1558825-what-are-my-chances-for-usc-final-answer-p1.html

For UCLA, your ACT and SAT’s are also below average. Look at their freshman profile: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/ucla/freshman-profile/index.html

Also look at the Univ. of California webpage for OOS applicants: http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/out-of-state/index.html

Also note that “very limited financial aid” that is “mostly loans” is available to help with the OOS tuition supplement of $23K per year at UCLA and the other UC’s. http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/paying-for-uc/whats-available/index.html#out-of-state
