" AP units may be applied toward graduation.

for the Bachelor's degree.
AP credit does not satisfy General Education requirements."

I took 5 AP classes, 4 of which I got a score of 3+ , does this mean I don't have to take extra classes in the spring for units (they're not major req's, I just thought I was low on units so I took them)?

by took I meant add, I obviously haven’t taken those spring classes yet x)

bump! (apologies in advance for the bump, I know it can get a lil’ annoying)

Did your CC accept the APs for GEs toward IGETC? It also depends on what scores you got on them such as, a 3 on AP Lang doesn’t satisfy the W1 at UCLA, or it could be different per major. You should still apply by 11/30 if you’ll have an equivalent of 60 units by the end of Spring.

Yes, they did! I talked to my counselor + the person in administration and I got them OK’d so that I could “skip” a couple classes.

Do you recommend I just take the classes in Spring? I was trying to be get myself out of them since I wanted to make time for this one difficult class, but if it’s risky, I’d rather just take the classes in Spring. The only problem is if I take all those classes in Spring, it comes out to a total amount of 121 units.

Are those all CC units? If so, it doesn’t matter how many CC units you have.

I would take classes in Spring, so I don’t have to explain the gap. Can you take fluff/easy A classes so that you can still focus on your tough class?

It really depends what APs, what your score was, what you plan to major in.

@luckie1367 Ohh! I didn’t know CC units didn’t have like a uh … limit! So thank you for that! And yeah, that’s probably good advice, thank you very much! :-)

Nope, no limits if it is ONLY CC units :)
