<p>can freshman at ucla ever get into the university apartments, or do they fill up with upperclassmen? i don't want to stay in a dorm because i want to eat my own food instead of paying all that money for a meal plan just to gain weight</p>
<p>sorry i have no idea about the apartments, BUT the food is amazing at UCLA!!!! why eat your own food? if you are worried about gaining weight, just discipline yourself to work out while enjoying the pleasure of eating awesome food. hahah :)</p>
<p>I would recommend you live on campus while you can. Once you're living in the apartments, you'll definitely miss the delicious food (especially Puzzles, peace be unto it). :rolleyes:</p>

<p>i believe when i was a housing tour guide, we were told that university apartments are not available or offered to first years</p>
