@LowkeySalty nope you’re not alone I still haven’t heard anything. I submitted my appeal on the 11th of April
@cranapplejuice I submitted mine just before the deadline, but submission date doesn’t seem to determine when we hear back

Mine’s still pending. Part of me is wishing that they’d just reject me now so I can redirect my hype to another school lol
@hihelloitsme1 I submitted my appeal within hours, as soon as the appeal opened.
@LowkeySalty I just got IN off USC’s appeal today and will be going to USC, but had initially SIR to UCI full ride Computer Engineering.
my appeal is still pending…i dont think i am the only one though. i called the admissions office and they said that the decision might come anytime during the month of may
@mydream2 are you a transfer student? I also submitted my appeal as soon as the appeal opened, May 2nd, and I’ve not heard back yet

@personwithadream Transfer here. Haven’t heard anything back yet either. It’s going to either come around this Friday since the deadline for transfers just finished or a few days after june 1st. It would be best to SIR to another campus in case if you’ve been accepted at other places and then if you manage to get into UCLA, the loss shouldn’t be too much.
@Rololo i was doing research and a lot of the tranfer appeals come in later. I had a friend who was a transfer and appealed and heard back in early June. but I’m not a transfer so I’m concerned that something went wrong with my appeal? idk
Transfer here. When I spoke to admissions, they said I was denied because I did not take the 1-Year of Spanish that is required for my Major (Chican@ Studies). I did not take a foreign language because the IGETC clearly states that the language requirement for UC’s is MET if 2 years of foreign language are completed during high school - I completed 2 years of Spanish in High School and I am a native speaker - I read, write, and speak Spanish proficiently. I have already requested my high school transcripts to provide as proof. Was my reason a valid reason to appeal? I also included how attending UCLA could be of mutual benefit.
