Hey guys,

Have any of you heard anything back from the UCLA appeal system? Any heard of acceptances? I submitted mine April 1st and haven't heard back yet, so I was wondering if that was a good sign...or nah? :)

Thanks in advance

i got rejected and i submitted mine on april 1st

@oldschoolboy Sorry to hear that. I saw that someone got a reply when they submitted April 13th-ish do you know if they just respond randomly?

@yaass2014 yes they reply randomly. i strongly believe they look at your grades/SATs first to see if you are even qualified.
Where else did you appeal?

@oldschoolboy Did you ask the Admission Office if they did them randomly?

Do they look at everyone’s grades/SAT’s first, then read the letters?

^No one knows. It doesn’t matter though. First and foremost, the most important criteria is whether you can handle the workload. It’d be a burden for you and the university if you struggled to pass your classes, though I’m not saying you would.

did anyone here appeal via the marching band? if so, did you guys get a response or know anyone that did?

@americanstudent i didn’t ask the admissions office anything.

So, it takes about a month to get a decision on appeals? Just curious i am a transfer student and I submitted my appeal on May 1st and was just wondering how long it would take before I heard back.
