i just checked my portal…there was no email

Did anyone just get an email?

No, did you?

Yeah saying that my portal was updated. Have you received a decision already?

Nope! Did you get in?!

Lol did any appeals get accepted this year?

Am I the only one that hasn’t heard anything yet hahaha??

I havent heard back either! @ohgeeeez

Did you get in??? @midnight101

When did you submit your appeal? @turkeypanini

April 12 @ohgeeeez

@turkeypanini @ohgeeeez

I’m also someone who’s still waiting on the appeal decision. I submitted mine on the 15th. It’s so dumb, I keep checking every hour or so out of anxiety. I hope you guys are handling it better the way I am.

Here’s the best for all of us, yeah?

Any updates?

None yet. You? @ohgeeeez I’m getting really anxious because I SIRd to UCSB already but I feel like I can’t really commit fully bc of this

Same here, I submitted an SIR yesterday! @turkeypanini I can’t seem to emotionally commit until I get a decision back too… I’m trying hard to not get my hopes up

Submitted my appeal on April 1 and got rejected again on April 30.

I am OOS and I do have competitive scores and GPA, new ECs, and I was willing to switch from a competitive major to a relatively less selective major, but I didn’t have any personal circumstances that wasn’t mentioned on my application. I think they will only revert their decision if you have some excruciating circumstances that weren’t mentioned on your application. What you did after the application probably doesn’t matter because they have already admitted many competitive students and many are attending.

For those of you who got in, what did you write about? Are you in-state or OOS?

@WildChickenU Having extenuating circumstances wouldn’t help either. I reported one in my appeal which I didn’t mention in my application and my outcome was the same as yours.

What major did u choose from the beginning? @WildChickenU

I still haven’t heard back either.

@davy901 I dont want to be nosy but what did you write in your appeal? You don’t have to answer I’m just curious
