UCLA applicant screws up midterm

<p>Hey guys. I applied to UCLA/UCB/UCSD with a 3.8. I finished IGETC. Prereqs (math,bio,chem,ochem,physics) were going to be finished by spring but I failed the first midterm for physics 4b. </p>

<p>Should I drop and get a W and finish physics 4C by summer? Would that be okay? How do I inform them of this change? And would it lower my chances?</p>

<p>Or should I tough it out? and most likely get a C</p>

<p>Physics is impossible :frowning: I failed the first exam and took a W instead of a
C. My friend had straight as and got a c in his calc 2 class after he got accepted
to ucla. They didn’t penalize him for that…</p>
