I just submitted my housing application for UCLA. Does this mean i've been accepted?

I got this this from a Q&A section.

Question: "I just applied for admission. When should I apply for my housing?"

"You must be admitted to the University in order to apply for university owned housing. You will not be able to apply before this time.

Once you have been admitted to the University, application information will be provided to you with your Admission notice. You will then need to make sure that you submit your application by the posted deadline."

how did you apply? :gasp:

went to the housing website, logged in and applied. Cost me $30.

omigosh. Yeah I would have to say that it means you are in. I definitely cant apply.

my housing website -> apply now -> Single Undergraduate Student -> it says that i'm ineligable, already applied, or i missed the deadline

:\ hope this doesnt mean i'm rejected

more people need to test this!

(Also I didnt submit a fafsa, if that has an relevance...)

Going off of that it really does look like you're in. /hi five

How did you submit your UCLA housing application? Was it through URSA?

<-- didn't apply for university owned housing

what is it with housing applications this year. It's like the new vogue.

"it says that i'm ineligable, already applied, or i missed the deadline"

I got this message too.

Thanks Edward. I can't believe I came up with a way to figure out if you got accepted......yayyyy for me.

i tried to. but it says the same thing as Ektaylor... oy.

wow steal my credit aha I posted this in the fin aid thread but nobody paid attention to it :P

I get the same message as Ektaylor, Cheeba63, and xleper17. However, I did not apply for UCLA funded housing (off campus ftw, that's just how I roll). I am able to see my financial aid status with UCLA though.

Yeah, congrats again fijeeboi...no more negative thinkin! You rule man, good job. :)

xleper17

You have to go to the UCLA Housing Website Directly! URSA Link DOES NOT WORK!

Bzander: Lol sorry I guess I didn't see your post. I officially give the credit to you.

bzander28 --- i did. i also go the ineligible thing.

My financial aid statement from UCLA says I am an off-campus student, so maybe that is why I can't access it.

no way we could all be rejected... not with our stats....

i also didn't apply for FAFSA. maybe that could be part of it...

but you succeeded at applying and got the public informed, so it is a co-discovery since i was going to stop paying attention to it..

congrats on applying (which i believe means you're in) wonder if it's fafsa influenced due to listing desire for on/off campus housing.

we'll know soon enough i suppose.

We need to get more people with on-campus housing fafsa listings to try this!
