So you're assuming that everyone here all decided to go to UCLA because we got rejected from the Ivy league? First off, some people actually DO want to go to LA. LA's their first school of choice. A lot of people choose LA over Berkeley too.

To tell you the truth, getting rejected isn't really worth getting depressed about. Your acceptances to various colleges reflect on how much work you put in throughout high school. If you didn't get into the school of your choice, that means there's just that much more people out there who are more qualified than you. Tough luck. Suck it up and deal with it. Crying and whining about it isn't gonna help. I got rejected from Berkeley, you don't see me whining and posting threads about it everywhere.

And lastly, if you want to insult certain people on this thread, don't do so by attacking everyone who goes to UCLA.

UCLA was my first school of choice as well and I got accepted to all the schools I applied to.

If you go on the UCLA board and try to insult the student body, what do you expect? A friendly welcome? You didn't post the same thread in the Berkeley board, which means it's a direct attack on UCLA.

BTW I said "i'm sure SOME of you guys had it worse when you got rejected"... so just chill... this is not an attack on UCLA... if there's a school I would talk crap about it would be USC... but that's another story...

Well I can see why you didn't get accepted to UCLA because your attitude towards your fellow peers sucks and your perspective as to why students chose UCLA is completely wrong and skewed.

Next time you run your mouth expect the brown bear to bite back!!!!!!!!!!

Unless excitedscared is in your class, I don't think this is your class discussion. If he was, then he would know your valedictorian got into Cal and decided to go to UCI.

If you really wanted a discussion, you would have started the thread as "Which school is harder to get into: UCLA or Cal?"

ahem UCLA is not merely a GOOD school as it is a GREAT school in my opinion. :) Just for the record.

1) Amiradaprincess, maybe you should probe for information about this college discussion debate in another place where there is no milieu of CC UCLAers who are proud to represent this FANTASTIC school and will walk over you like .. well, a bruin would over a small anteater. We get angry, we roar. We will hiss and suck up anteaters up of our noses. In other words, for the sake of your anger management issues, please go elsewhere.

2) And even if you do want to be the least courteous to people who are providing SOME information to you (but maybe are not expressing it in the utmost "happiest" of manners), you should at least not call them "pathetic","biotches", "cyberstalkers" and the like. Remember what that kindgerten teacher taught you? Let's treat people how they want to be treated even though they don't treat you the same back! You're putting chips into the fire woman and making people hate you more for your outrageous reiteration!

Just fyi. And don't call my boyfriend a cyberstalker again.

My bad..... i'm writing this because it won't let me send the message because it is way too short because they have some kind of program set up that does not let you send off the reply without it being long enough and I wonder why they did that, so I wonder if this is long enough.
