UCLA Bioengineering vs Computational and Systems Biology

Hello,

I am wondering if Bioengineering or Computational and Systems Biology at UCLA would be a better fit for a premed student like myself. Bioengineering probably has a harder GPA curve, but if I don’t go to medical school then better job opportunities (?), while CSB satisfies more premed requirements; however, not many people choose this major and I do not know what the job prospect for CSB is (if I do not get in/choose not to go to medical school).

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!
