UCLA biz econ/ UCB econ chance/USC marshall question
I am a California resident but attend a private 2-year school in Massachusetts.
My concern is that I have not taken straight calculus in college.

1st semester:

English Composition - A
Quantitative Analysis ( I guess it transfers as business calc)- A
First Year Seminar - A
Intro to Business- A
Financial Accounting- A

2nd semester:

English Composition and Literature- A
Statistics- A
Macroecon- A
Financial Accounting II- A
Visual Art- A

Sophomore year:

1st semester:

I expect A 's in all these classes.( Easiest semester in college)

English: Social Issues in Literature
Psychology
Marketing
Business Law
Microecon

2nd Semester: (Planned for IGETC)

Biology
Geography
Public Speaking
History
Computer Science

Overall I expect a GPA of 4.0 or very close to it but I am concerned about not having calculus. Do i have any chance of getting into these schools without it?

P.S- I have decent EC's and work experience, essays should be decent

Post this in the UC sub forum, if you haven't already. I think that the UC schools (in varying degrees) are fairly strict about their prereqs for junior transfers, but don't quote me.

You have a better chance at USC than the other UCs because UCLA/UCB give top priorities to transfer students from CC.

thats actually a myth. ive called the UC admissions office twice to clarify this and they state that if you are a california resident, you will get put in to the same pool as the california community college students.

Thanks for the clarification but here is what I found on the UCLA website
UCLA Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools: Transfer Admission

We give highest priority to students who are transferring from
California community colleges <../adm_tr.htm> or other University of
California campuses.
