I'm just wondering.. which is better between the two school and programmes? if like for example, financial aid doesnt matter.

lol, do your own research...

yeahh, i have been researching, but still cant find any answer. ucla business economics are good and very competitive. stern has one of the best business program in usa too. i have been admitted into both schools, but i am still not sure which one i should choose. suggestions anyone?

stern for finance.

how about other programs if not finance? i have applied for stern as underclared major, because i still cant make my decision about which major i should choose.

if money was completely not an issue, then i'd say Stern, all the way. That is if finance interests you. The name recognition, alumni network, and strength of the program (what they teach you) in Stern's specialty (finance) would be tough to beat. Even more so, if you're planning to live and work there. However, if you're wanting to work in LA afterwards, then it might be a tougher decision.

However, it's ultimately up to what you value, your own unique circumstances and aspirations. :)

how if i do not choose finance at stern? because until now, i am still not sure which major i should choose. in terms of academic wise and job prospect, etc. any more suggestions anyone?

i'm not sure, but that's exactly what NYU's famous for. It's not for cutting edge research in the field of business, economics, or finance, but for a very good undergraduate professional school. they churn out a lof ppl working in new york's banking sector.

lol do your own research...

it's really tough to get information on Business Economics (if you're into rankings and all) as it's not in a business school and undergraduate economics isn't rated.

the choice is obvious for finance - STERN. NYU = prestigious, top ranked finance program. Located in NYU, heart of the finance sector.

how if i choose majors other than finance? its because im still not sure what im gonna do in the future. which university should i choose?

lookin at the threads u made, you made a lot of ones that like exactly like this one. except the name of the schools are different. o.O

its because i have actually been accepted into 5 schools. and now, i have managed to shorten my choices of school into two. i just got admitted into nyu yesterday.

Personally, I would go to NYU Stern b/c its much more well known, so you can probably find a job more easily if you do anything international.

BTW: Ladala, if you you don't mind, could you post your stats?
