Anyone in here that is currently in Business Econ or has done business econ, or just got admitted even?
I would like to know how bus econ compares to bus admin at uci, ucr, ucb, and many cal states.
It seems like, from course catalog and others, that ucla is really just theoretical econ and some accounting. I enjoy marketing, finance, and management.
Bus. Adm. at the 3 UC’s means that your degree is in Bus. Adm. and you would end up taking more business course than if you were a business econ major. Upon graduation, you can still get offered business jobs if you majored in bus. econ. at UCLA.
For both UCB Haas and UCR, you cannot be admitted to the business school as a freshman. You would take the prerequisites and apply to those business schools as a junior during your sophomore year. For UCI, you can be admitted to the business school as a freshman.
