I’m also applying to Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Colombia, USC (maybe), and U Penn. I really want to become an Investment Banker and eventually go into Private Equity with the intention of starting my own company. Regardless, its nearly impossible to get your foot in the door if you don’t go to a really really good school. If any of you have any help regarding what I can do it would be much appreciated. Although theres not much opportunity at CC, I believe you have to exploit every opportunity you get no matter if its small or big. So please do your local CC guy a favor and help him out.

HSY you should be advised are incredibly hard to transfer into…even much more so than regular admission. In short, most available transfer seats are tied to attrition. With attrition at 2% and below, it makes for a very limited ability of the qualified students to transfer. Moreover, besides being qualified for admission, most qualified applicants are transferring to schools with programs not offered at their home institution. In your case, both the UC and Cal-State school offer those degrees, thus it’s going to make it exponentially hard–best!

@Nimak21 You’re a competitive applicant! You definitely have the odds on your favor! (: Good luck and hope you get accepted next year! I will also be applying next fall!
