@2021person Thank you! I wish you the best of luck Don’t ever give up! With my mediocre scores I was surprised to even be considered for waitlist and was even more shocked when I got in first wave. Miracles do happen!
By the way, I want to ask for an opinion . Do you guys think it’s better for to attend UCLA or NYU for communications. Because I thought there was no way I would get off that waitlist and was all set for East Coast and New York but now I have to change direction again. Any advice?
ACCEPTED FOR BIOCHEMISTRY!
Intl’ (I just saw it, i haven’t received an email confirmation)
Does anyone know when’s the in state wave?
i wrote quite a bit. also included my fall semester grades @FlapDragon
@Dreamingtobeout i think they are both super great options! honestly, I would say it really kind of comes down to whether you’d prefer the west coast or east coast lol also private vs. public. i assume tho, nyu has great connections and maybe a little more care from the school since it is private? i know with most UCs it’s kind of like you’re on your own and kind of easy to get lost in the crowd. but if you’re ok with that ucla would also be great. where ever you go you’ll have fun!
It’s like waking up to seeing my dream comes true…I have just received an email from UCLA, offering me to be a part of the BRUINS!!! Btw I am from Hong Kong, majoring in History. I have been so nervous these days, and i realized I am so so so damn lucky to have received this offer, and even received it in such an early time.
I wish you all the BEST sincerely!! you all deserve the spot!!! feel free to ask me for more!!
any accepted physiological science majors around??
International Student from China. Haven’t heard anything yet. This wait is a torture. I don’t think they will accept many from waitlist. How come they just make us wait for the whole month.
Can I ask did you put your new grades of senior year? Are they all A?
I got in for Neuroscience. I got one B and I also didn’t write a personal statement.
Are you oos or international?
So so far no instate acceptances or acceptances from the school of engineering?
Congratulations to those who got off the waitlist! It would be more great if you can state your majors and some basic stats, plus what you have said in your personal statements. Thanks and congrats again.
So im pretty sure this was the out of state/international wave. Except for that one guy on Twitter who got in for neuroscience, i dont think any in-state people have gotten in off the waitlist yet. Is there anyone else who got off the waitlist and is in-state?
Does anyone know how many people are on the waitlist? I am so curious and could not find any stats.
im international and waitlisted by HSSEAS. Haven’t heard anything from engineering yet and i emailed the admission office ask if we should ignore those acceptance from L&S and focus on HSSEAS only.
My friend got off of the waitlist on Friday, and she’s in state. She decided to not go since she fell in love with Berkeley. I’m getting pretty worried.
@Hxt0311 I m also worried as I have applied to CS in coe. What’s your major?
can u keep us posted on what they say?
