I called them … she said that they will send a decision for every waitlist by the end of May!!!
Called them earlier today. Unfortunately, I have bad news. According to one of the Admissions Representatives, the College of Letters and Sciences and especially the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science has seen a record yield for SIR’s. He mentioned that at this point it is extremely unlikely to be removed from the list, and does not expect more than 100 students at most to be accepted. The Department will release their final decisions by the end of this month. He encouraged us to pursue with other options at this time.
