Has anyone been accepted off the waitlist in the past few days? Not sure why they are still keeping everyone in suspense.

My daughter got the same red text box. I called admissions this afternoon and they said they would post answers tomorrow. I tried to get a bit more info out of the girl that answered the phone by asking her, “So you’re sending out the rejections tomorrow?” And she was VERY quick to deny that! Not sure if this is her way of putting on a poker face over the phone. I’m a UCLA alum and this is EXTREMELY aggravating to watch my daughter and all of the students on this site suffer for 2+ months. My alma mater will not see dime one from me in donation form after experiencing this debacle.

Agreed, thank you @Alum1992 for your post! I applied as a Vocal Performance (Music) major as a Junior since I’m transferring from a CC. Are there any Performing Arts majors also waitlisted here? I could not check the portal because I’m terrified. I’ve been rejected by USC just a few days ago but thankfully got accepted by BCCM (CSULB), so good lord… I’ll be praying for all of us here!
This is a complete lack of consideration, people have put their lives on hold because of this.

I just called the admissions office. The lady said they are working very hard in the reviewing process … blah blah blah , and said the latest will be by mid June to notify all of us.

@koko31011970 … hope they won’t delay and prolong this daunting process any longer. They could be handling better. I think the chance to get in is close to zero. I don’t mind to get the rejection, but the never ending process is very irritating.
May 2nd, end of May, June 1st, June 2nd, Mid June, the list goes on. When is ucla ever going to release waitlist decisions on the day they promised?

Welp, it was fun riding this roller coaster with you guys on cc. I was also rejected. I can finally emotionally commit to UCSD at Revelle. This whole wait listing thing from UCLA is definitely a burden as it instills hope when there is none. I hope next year won’t be like this. GL on your future endeavors at wherever you’re going guys!
portal still hasn’t changed. maybe it’s alphabetical order. last name starts with a Y haha

I don’t think they follow an alphabetical order… my last name starts with B, first name A and I still haven’t gotten a reply 
Although the portal did leave the following message:

All we can do now is wait and wish for luck
