<p>I am thinking about going to LA because i am kind of a LAZY guy who may not survive from the atmosphere at Berkeley… Plus, UCLA is closer , and the weather in LA is better…</p>
<p>Yeah, I never, ever imagined myself to be in this position. Ever. I am 90/10 toward Cal.
Reasons I haven’t submitted my SIR:
-Never even seen UCLA. What if I LOVE the campus?
-I don’t qualify for financial aid anywhere, and Berkeley costs $2000 more per year
-Berkeley needs me to take proof of citizenship to them in person. WTH? I live two hours away . . .
-I heard Berkeley housing is kind of a mess? I wouldn’t not go simply because of this, but I’m going to wait til I’m all done with classes on May 20, then seriously explore both options. But in the end I’m pretty sure it’ll be Cal.</p>

<p>I got into Communications Studies at UCLA and Business Administration at Cal. I have no idea what to do. I’m leaning more towards UCLA at this point, as finance isn’t really the direction I want to go necessarily. I think if I did UCLA I would still do a minor in Business. It’s really hard to choose, as the programs I applied to are so different :/</p>
<p>One more thing- I’m having trouble viewing my fin aid package for Cal. I logged into the Bear Facts website, but I can’t find my award letter. Did anyone else have better luck locating theirs???</p>
<p>Yipeee I got accepted to both University. But I’m leaning towards UCLA. I live in the Bay Area and I need some change. Really guys, CAL’s not all that cracked up to be. I was there 2 weeks ago, and its like a whole new world. </p>

<p>2.7 GPA Asian American Studies. I’m going to be double majoring when I get there in English.</p>
<p>I’m feeling superb now…UCLA is my dream school+close to where I live. But Cal has an edge academically…hard to decide…</p>
<p>I’m not sure. I live a few miles away from UCLA and have friends there, but I don’t know if I want to be so close to home. Yet, I got into Cal for spring, and I don’t know if I want to wait that long to start. So I’m not really sure what to do…</p>

<p>Wait you said you got into Cal w/ Bus. Admin. and UCLA with Communications Studies and you’re not sure where to go?? Are you sure you got into HAAS? If so, you should submit your SIR right now

<p>i was 100% ucla, i went to the campus today to turn in some FA paperwork and it’s so beautiful!
but then i got home from ucla and i find out that i’m accepted for cal (spring admit though)
i’ve never been to berkeley, but i’d definitely like to visit the campus before i make my final decision

<p>cal probably is better for academic reasons but i think in terms of overall package (academics, social life, students, area/community, sports, etc), </p>

<p>i’ve visited cal and it has this east coast feeling to it, which i personally didnt like
ucla campus > cal campus</p>

i got chewed out a lot for that though, many people said i was stupid to not apply to any safeties and worried for me if i didn’t get into any. hehe little did they know i am pretty gangster 8)</p>

<p>I didn’t think I’d get into Berkeley so I actually didn’t think of the scenario that much, but for practical purposes I’m 99.5% sure I’m going to go to UCLA. I can take the bus to school, my husband can keep his job/benefits, I have the option of keeping my job, etc.</p>
