Class rank: 9/43 (super small class, very competitive. is the rank a big deal in admissions?)

Freshman year: normal stuff + mandarin 1, art 1
Sophomore: normal stuff + mandarin 2, art 2
Junior: APUSH, AP Biology, art 3, precalc
Senior: AP Lit, AP Gov, AP Psych, (no science this year /:slight_smile:

150+ hours volunteering for the city, church, day cares, and school

3 years volleyball
1 year track
1 year dance team
3rd year on NHS, current Vice President
2 years Video Announcement crew member, one year editor/ director

Bilingual (where do I put this on my application if I didn’t take an sat subject test for it??)
Multiple Art Awards- painting, sketching, collages
Received a scholarship (discount on tuition) for grades in jr high that was renewable each year of high school

Worked many side jobs like teaching piano, math tutoring, volleyball coaching

Should I apply to more schools outside the UC system…naps in, is there a chance that I likely won’t get accepted into any of them or something haha

@LomoKuan UC GPA is a 4.3 according to the website

You need to bump up your SAT into the 2100+ range for a solid chance at UCLA. You should consider applying to UCSC/UCI/UCR where your chances would be much better especially with a UC GPA of 4.3 and SAT of 1850. Good Luck.
