Calculate your UC GPA: <a href=“GPA Calculator for the University of California – RogerHub”>http://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/
If your UC GPA is around 4.2+, you have a good chance for acceptance.
See Freshman Profile for 2014:http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/Adm_fr/Frosh_Prof14.htm

Good Luck

My GPA with that calculator was 3.76…

UCLA: Reach

Very low. Your GPA is a problem.

What ethnicity are you? If you’re east asian it’s definitely a no. Your SAT is pretty descent if your not asian. You have good extra circulars however from what I know, UC’s get a ■■■■ ton of applications and the GPA is what separates those who really have a chance from the others. I would think extra circulars mostly come into play when you have a higher GPA and are competing with higher GPA applicants. Try private schools like USC. USC looks at your SAT and extra circulars a lot more. My brother had a mediocre GPA but got a 2300 SAT and got into USC. Don’t get me wrong, USC is highly selective of GPA as well but I just think you will have a better chance from your extra stuff
