<p>i'm majoring in chem/materials science. if it helps, i put undeclared for my alternate, although i heard they don't look at that.</p>

<p>I'd say slight reach, but I have a feeling some will consider you a reach. Below average GPA, average SAT, and pretty good ECs.</p>

<p>yeah, i'm thinkin i might have a harder chance gettin into LA cuz of my major (is it impacted?)..i may have a better chance at UCB cuz im doing undeclared, but i dunno.</p>

<p>It's still pretty tough to get in as undeclared, since a lot of people apply as undeclared.</p>
