UCLA chances

<p>Yea i turned my application in. Just wondering if I was right to apply to UCLA.</p>

<p>GPA:4.5 weighted i tihnk 3.6 sumthin for unweighted (oh im instate)
Ap's:11 including senior year
SAt I: 1530
SAT II: US history 760
Math IIC 790
Chemistry 720
EC's are nothing compared to people in this forum but i think my EC's were alright
4 years varsity golf
500 hours of community service tutoring kids at the library and helping teaching kids how to read in a non profit organization
Debate Club 4 years
Violin for 10 years
Drums and made a band..haha</p>

AP scholar
many golf awards and nationally ranked</p>

<p>my hook is just the responsiblities i had as a role model for my brother and how i supported my family when my mom lost her job. well just wondering...does being the first person in my family history to go to college give me an advantage over others..just wodnering.. thanx</p>

<p>High gpa, high test scores, and tons of community service on top of working out of necessity and being a first generation college student = sure acceptance</p>

<p>Thats a very impressive resume, and I congratulate you on your achievements through supporting your family. I can't say that anyone is a "sure acceptance", but IMHO you have an extremely good shot.</p>
