Essays: Wrote one about fiddling & how it gave me the confidence to pursue a career as a trial lawyer and another about modeling & learning how to juggle missing school and the demands of jobs (choosing between travelling and school and going to AP exams over a job). They were okay.

<p>I’m freaking out here. I applied as a MT, anyone know the idea musical theater major acceptance rate at UCLA? It’s my current top choice school and most MT programs are crazy selective (I’m talking 2-10% admission rates) but I can’t find any specific information at UCLA. Ughhhhh! At least I got into UCI so I know I’m going to a good UC for theater. But this is soooo unpleasant. At my audition, they said admission decisions would be released on the 4th. That did not happen! Ahhhh!</p>

<p>I can’t post stats today or even look at anyone else’s as it will just stress me more. That said - naomikt - yours are very impressive! </p>
<p>Switching gears to distract myself I wanted to share that I went on the housing tour a couple of months ago and discovered that due to a crunch at the school most freshman are living in double rooms with three students. I asked our tour person if it was possible to buy up into a double if one were lucky enough to be able afford to do so and he replied not necessarily and that 80% of freshman live in triples. It’s not the number of people that’s the problem, it’s the size of the room. Students are literally crammed in together. As much as I love UCLA I saw this as a big drawback.</p>
<p>Matrix, I will worry about the housing (the other guys better not fart or it might kill me in a small room) after I get accepted …</p>
<p>Since you are a guy I would guess you are pretty much guaranteed that problem in any dorm room. :)</p>

haha sorry about stressing people out with my stats. I like causing myself more anxiety. I think it’s my goal in life – to find out how stressed I can get before having a nervous breakdown. :P</p>
