UCLA Class of 2015 Official Results Thread!

I hope it could come out tomr!!!

@theleakers

Don’t get your hopes up too much. Sucks when it doesn’t happen :)

<<sucks when=“” it=“” doesn’t=“” happen=“”>></sucks>

then we will reset the clock and count down once again …
this thing is killing me …

I have not studied or do any of my homework all this week …
even if I get in, they will rescind because of my bad grade, oh my Lord …

Hate to burst your bubble, but around 1/5 of you will actually get in, so don’t be so nervous.
Love thy safety.
Plus UCLA isn’t even that good

so I have 80% chance to be disappointed ???
and you think UCLA actually sucks ???

if there is nothing o get excited about, may be I should just stop the clock …

For computer science it isn’t that great at all ^^

@ theleakers: Hey so, you sound really excited (and so am I!!!) but you sound really sure about decisions coming friday (tomorrow !!! ) was there another confirmation or are you going by gut feeling?
thnx

gut feeling for now …
but if computer science is not really that great, then it is okay to be rejected !!!
either way, I just want to know if I get accepted or rejected !!!

check here

I don’t get it. If the admissions website itself says that decisions will be out mid-late March, how can the previous 2-3 pages posters conclude that they’ll be declared by 12th-13th (and they’ve even started with the countdown and all).
Any legit source guys?

the web site always put the date later than what actually happens, it would be disastrous if they said mid March but does not start sending it out until the end of March, there will be a lot of angry students …

anyway, the last 2 years, the decision starts coming out after 5 PM on the second Friday of March, so if the pattern holds it will be tomorrow …

count down continues, 28 more hours only …

Well hopefully it’s getting closer to decision time - they finally updated the admitted student page to say 2011 instead of 2010.

Btw, the 1/5 acceptance rule is misleading. It really depends on what department/college you want and what their acceptance rate is.

Good luck to all!

Well hopefully it’s getting closer to decision time - they finally updated the admitted student page to say 2011 instead of 2010.

that indicates the decision is right around the corner, please please, please, just let me know, I am begging you, UCLA

^When did they change it?

I honestly think all of our efforts would be better put into finding ways to distract ourselves from admission decisions until they actually come out.

I’m so nervous!!! I really hope that decisions come out tomorrow! I can’t stand waiting!!!
It’s not even so much the fact that it’s UCLA. I’m using this hopeful acceptance as a preliminary test to see if there’s even a chance of me getting into my dream school UPenn. If I don’t get in UCLA then I highly doubt I’ll get in there because my stats are not all that. =/
hahah i even had nervous tears last night while reading this thread

@h4ileyst4r
I feel the same way. UCLA is the first of my top three reach schools to release decisions, so if decisions are released tomorrow and I don’t get in, I won’t have to be so anxious about the rest since I probably won’t get it :/

h4ileyst4r I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you’re unsure about your acceptance into UCLA, UPenn isn’t looking so good.

@BlizzaP

that’s mean… I applied to Penn as well and I’m not sure of anything! Though no I’m probably not getting into Penn.

Are you sure of your chances?

upenn is obviously way more competitive than any uc school, and probably more competitive than at least 90% of schools in america. but that’s still not to say that a borderline ucla applicant can’t get into upenn; if you have good stats and ec’s that stand out, you could still have a chance at upenn even if you’re statistically unsure about ucla. similarly, even if you had spectacular stats, no one can be “sure” about ucla anyway cuz it does reject some applicants who seem like shoo-ins.

<<no one=“” can=“” be=“” “sure”=“” about=“” ucla=“” anyway=“” cuz=“” it=“” does=“” reject=“” some=“” applicants=“” who=“” seem=“” like=“” shoo-ins.=“”>></no>

what ???
that is cruel and unusual punishment for the shoo-ins …

@h4ileyst4r

hang in there, I will be receiving my rejection at 5 tomorrow …
