Apparently, today a lot of people from NorCal got off the waitlist. People from SoCal are still on the waitlist. I think they are definitely going off by region and location wise

I withdrew from my other school first before accepting admission.

We are waiting in the WL ā¦ but my suggestion would be to fist accept the new one, and then withdraw other SIR

Hi everyone, Iām joining this discussion kind of late, but I was just admitted off the waitlist this morning! I am in state from San Jose/Bay Area
Oh and for anyone who wants stats, Iām a Pre-Data Theory major in the College of Letters and Science. UC GPA was a 4.25, SAT 1430 with 690 English 740 Math and 6/4/6 essay, I took the math 2 and literature subject tests but didnāt do particularly well, upper 600s for both. Also Iām an Asian male

Leadership positions in various clubs, tutored for many subjects, tennis, etc.
LOCI:
Wrote a few sentences about being thankful to be offered a spot on the waitlist, why I like UCLA and how I would love to attend. I also included my first semester of senior year grades, I had all Aās with a full IB course load.
Iām writing this in hopes to offer relief to those who are still waitlisted and donāt have perfect stats, extraordinary ecās and didnāt write an extensive LOCI. You guys still have a great shot!
