Hi, I am a second year community college student and this year I plan to apply to UCLA and UCSD as a cog sci major with UCI and UCSB being my backup for psychology. My school of choice would have to be UCLA because I feel that I will achieve my absolute potential at that school while also being relatively close to home.

As of right now, I have a 3.6 gpa and will be done with my IGETC after this fall semester. By spring 2013, I will be able to finish all but one of my prereqs for UCLA and UCD (computer programming C++ class).

I received credit for five AP exams in high school and will expect to complete 64 semester units(96 quarter units) of credit by the time I transfer.

Some extracurricular are 20+ hours volunteering for circle K, 60+ hours volunteering at an Optometry office, and involvement in ASG for one semester.

Will not completing one prereq drastically reduce my chances of being admitted into UCLA? What are my chances of me being accepted to the schools I listed?
