Ok so right now I'm currently a first year student at a CSU, I plan to finish out the year here then transfer to a CC for next year because I really want to go to UCLA. I'm a computer science major and by the end of next spring I should be done with all the pre-reqs except possibly one (the third physics course), with something like a 3.85 overall GPA and a 3.92 or so GPA including only my major prep courses. What I would like to know is with that GPA would I still have a good chance of getting in even though I'll be missing one of the pre-req courses? And would joining the math and comp sci clubs at my school and having a great personal statement help my chances? Also since I most likely won't be able to complete that last physics pre-req, would it help me to take some computer science courses that aren't required just to kind of show that I'm interested in the subject and all, even if they don't transfer over to UCLA? I'm Hispanic by the way in case that helps me out any (which I doubt lol).
Thanks,
